As more yachts move beyond their initial delivery phase, the focus increasingly shifts towards maintaining, adapting and optimising exterior spaces over time. Exposure to sunlight, saltwater, intensive use and changing owner requirements all have an impact on the long-term performance and appearance of exterior components.
To support owners, management companies and crew in this process, Seable&Co now offers a dedicated Survey & Exterior Assessment service.
The assessment is designed to provide a clear overview of the current condition of exterior elements on board, while also creating insight into expected lifetime, future maintenance requirements and potential replacement timelines. Depending on the scope, this can include pools and spa systems, teak decks, exterior furniture, stainless steel components and other exterior outfitting elements.
In addition to the physical assessment itself, the service can also include inventory checks of installed components and spare parts, practical maintenance recommendations and onboard crew guidance where relevant.
The objective is not simply to identify wear or technical issues, but to help clients make more informed long-term decisions regarding maintenance, budgeting and future refit planning. By combining technical expertise with operational understanding, Seable&Co aims to support exterior spaces throughout their full lifecycle — long after delivery.
As part of Seable&Co Yacht Support (SYS), this service forms another step towards more proactive and structured lifecycle support within the superyacht industry.
